Upon entering my gallery you will be greeted with a sign reading “Welcome to My World”. It is a statement that I have tried to depict in each and every one of my art pieces. On the walls you will not see blue ribbons and art awards. What you will see is stories painted and sculpted from a middle-aged women’s perspective. Her years of being a 60’s flower child, watching men fall in war, romance, marriage, children and now the challenge of growing old. I want to be able to have people “feel” each piece emotionally as well as to be touched in a way that moves them. Many pieces are very bright in color, whimsical and just make your spirit smile. Others may bring back memories that perhap make your heart ache but allows you to feel that emotion.

Besides my own outlook on life I do many consignment pieces. They consist of family portraits, animal portraits or a place that means something special to you. All paintings are done in oil and done in a way that captures the personality of the person , place or thing being painted. That is a “must” in all my pieces. Another project that I have been successful in is painting small portraits on Christmas balls. Adding names and any personal information you may want on the ball.

So……once again “Welcome to My World” and thank you for allowing me to share a moment of your time. I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you might have. Each piece is hand sculpted just once. No molds or duplicates. So you will always get the original piece, signed and dated. My thought is we are all “One of a Kind” and should celebrate that gift we were given by surrounding ourselves with art that reflects that thought. Till then, Chris
